Idaho State Police are continuing their investigation into a head on crash yesterday afternoon just after 2 that claimed the life of a 32 year old female from Wilmington California.  Police say it happened 8 miles north of the Idaho Nevada border on highway 93.  The road was shut down for about 3 hours. 



As we check the irrigation reservoir system this morning, officials say it’s looking very positive.  The system continues to fill with snow runoff and is 98 percent full.



CSI announced last week that it’s parting ways with long time head volleyball coach Jim Cartisser and assistant coach Babes Kallulu.  Cartisser has been the head coach of the Golden Eagles since 2018 when he took the program over following the passing of his late wife Heidi. Cartisser said he will seek legal action against the school.



Idaho Republican Party Chairwoman Dorothy Moon was reelected to a second two-year term at North Idaho College during the final day of the 2024 Republican State Convention.  On Saturday the Stanley resident defeated challenger Mary Souza.  The leadership election brought to a close the most secretive Idaho Republican State Convention in at least a decade. Reporters were not allowed to attend any meetings.



The Idaho Republican Party has adopted its platform changes for the next two years at its state convention including expanding its anti-abortion stance, calling for an end to no-excuse absentee voting, and advocating for an end to all government funding and programs not required by the constitution.



A 7 year old boy was killed and a 5 year old girl was injured yesterday afternoon in Gooding County.  Authorities say it the two were riding on an ATV around 4 on 1400 south which is north of Gooding when the accident happened.



The City of Twin Falls is hosting a series of public hearings to gather input from city residents on the 2025 city budget. The meetings are open to the public.  The first meeting is set for Monday July 1st and will be conducted on selected Mondays through August 19th at the city council chambers.
